I come from a background of education and now I am focusing on bringing joy to young children and their families through creative writing and picture books about my little white puppy called “Tiger”.
Research has shown that there are many benefits of reading in the early years. As an early childhood and primary school teacher, I have seen first hand how children build confidence as readers, especially when they are exposed to familiar sight words through stories they enjoy and want to read again and again.
Written for children 2-8 years of age, with carefully chosen sight words designed to build sight word mastery while making reading fun and rewarding. I encourage your children to read and learn as they turn each page.
The books are extra special to me - inspired by real experiences had with my little white puppy and moments that touched my heart.

About The Author
Suzanne Louise Green was born and raised in Newcastle NSW, Australia. Upon graduating from the University of Newcastle with her first double degree, Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood, Bachelor of Social Science, Suzanne moved to Sydney to teach. Nine years on Suzanne completed her second degree in Education, Diploma of Primary Education.
The greatest love Suzanne had as an infant teacher was fostering a love for reading. Upon seeing the pure joy on a child’s face when they realised they could read, was the ultimate gift.
After having taught young people for 14 years, Suzanne took a break from education to start a family.
Nine years on Suzanne decided to put pen to paper and write. Remembering the precious moments spent teaching children to read as well as reading picture books with her children, inspired her to start creative writing. The second passion came from children and their families stopping her at the park wanting to pat her adorable puppy, which in turn became the pulse and inspiration to write a picture book series about her Toy Poodle “Tiger”.
She is a beach lover, who loves to be active and nothing makes her happier than sharing meaningful time with her husband, two teenage children and her adorable white puppy.
The love of reading begins with one special book -
