With a background in early childhood and primary education, I am now following my passion for creative writing and creating heartfelt picture book stories for young children and their families.

As an early childhood and primary school teacher, I saw firsthand the confidence and joy children experienced as they began recognising familiar words and discovered that they could read independently. Those experiences have stayed with me and continue to influence the stories I write today.

My stories are written with young children in mind, naturally incorporating high-frequency words while keeping the warmth, imagination and enjoyment of shared reading at their heart.

Much of my inspiration comes from real-life experiences with my family's lovable little Toy Poodle, Tiger, whose gentle nature and playful personality have provided many special moments and stories worth telling.

Through my writing, I hope to create stories that children will want to hear again and again — stories that bring families together, encourage a love of reading and help young children discover the joy and confidence that can come from turning each page.
